Jio Launched Soon With New Feature Phone in India

Jio will soon introduce a new feature phone in India. The JioBharat B1 offered 4G connectivity, UPI payments, online content through JioCinema, and more at an affordable price for feature phone users. The upcoming JioBharat B2 is expected to continue this trend. The device has been seen on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom company, is focusing on devices, particularly feature phones, to eliminate 2G usage in India. 

They plan to launch feature phones supporting 4G under the JioBharat platform. This initiative aims to offer affordable 4G-capable phones around the Rs 1000 price range. The JioBharat B1 is currently available on Amazon India for Rs 1,299. Reports suggest that Jio is preparing to launch another feature phone under the JioBharat platform, likely named the JioBharat B2. Although the company has not confirmed the new phone officially, it has been spotted on a certification site, possibly hinting at its imminent release. 

The anticipated Jio Bharat B2 has been discovered on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with the model number JBB121B1, possibly indicating significant upgrades such as a larger display, improved camera features, and a better processor compared to its predecessor, the Jio Bharat B1. The Jio Bharat B2 is expected to provide similar 4G connectivity, UPI payment ability, and access to online content like JioCinema at an affordable price. 

Additional details about the phone are currently unavailable, but its appearance on BIS suggests a close launch date. Consumers can still purchase the JioBharat B1 from Amazon India, offering access to various Jio platforms, a digital camera, a 2000mAh battery, and exclusive Jio network support with 4G connectivity. The phone features a 2.4-inch display, positioning it as a competitive product compared to offerings from Nokia, Motorola, and Lava with similar specifications.
