Ola Electric's Design Patent for Electric Motorcycle Leaked Before Launch, Explore Key Features

Ola Electric has solidified its position in the EV market and is now eyeing a significant presence in the electric motorcycle sector. The company recently unveiled design patents for one of its upcoming electric motorcycles, hinting at its potential appeal to daily commuters.

The visuals of the Ola electric motorcycle suggest a focus on efficiency, featuring a telescopic fork, twin shock absorbers at the rear, and a simple box-section swingarm. With 17-inch alloy wheels and narrow commuter-sized tires, the emphasis is on reducing drag for enhanced performance.

The electric motorcycle will house a new electric motor and battery unit, optimizing weight distribution similarly to traditional internal combustion engines. While specific performance details remain undisclosed, expectations are for speeds exceeding 100kph and a decent range with fast-charging capabilities.

The design of the Ola electric motorcycle exudes a futuristic vibe with sleek flat panels and sharp crease lines, offering a single-piece seat and a comfortable upright riding position. Ola Electric has not disclosed the launch date for the electric motorcycle in India, where it will compete with models like the Tork Kratos R and Revolt RV400.
