Things You Need to Know About Apple's Vision Pro Headset

Apple's Vision Pro Headset

Apple is preparing to expand the sales of its Vision Pro mixed-reality headset globally, as reported by Bloomberg News on Monday.

The tech giant has brought in numerous employees from its international stores to Cupertino, California for training on demonstrating the $3,499 headset to customers. This move aims to boost demand for one of Apple's most costly ventures in recent years.

Following the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) from June 10 to June 14, Apple intends to introduce the Vision Pro to international markets.

The training sessions, lasting up to four days, have involved employees from various countries such as Germany, France, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and China, indicating these nations could be among the first to receive the product.

Despite the initial excitement surrounding the Vision Pro's launch in the US on February 2 last year, demand has reportedly slowed.

With the headset's upcoming release in international markets, Apple seeks to attract customers amidst a decline in iPhone sales. In a statement to Reuters, Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Apple CEO Tim Cook mentioned in March that the Vision Pro would soon be available in mainland China, emphasizing the company's commitment to expanding research and development investments in the region.
