Hanooman AI was developed by 3AI Holding and Surreal Media Labs. The Indian large language model (LLM) was launched on Friday by these developers and unveiled on February 21 during an event in Mumbai. It caters to the Indian demographic by supporting 12 Indian languages and 98 global languages for text translation.
Currently available for free, Hanooman AI will introduce a premium version with a paid subscription in the future. The AI platform was officially introduced via a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) by Hanooman's handle, showcasing its capabilities to break language barriers effortlessly.
The chatbot is accessible through a web client and an Android app, offering functionality across various sectors such as healthcare, governance, financial services, and education. Hanooman AI's features include responding to users in their native language, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, and more. It performs functions similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT or Google's Gemini, answering queries, generating text, and engaging in conversations.
The company integrates specialized LLMs with an integration synthesis matrix to provide clear insights and transform complex data into actionable intelligence. During testing conducted by Gadgets 360, Hanooman AI demonstrated proficiency in basic text-based generative AI tasks.
While it lacks multimodal capabilities and internet access, limiting its ability to process images or real-time information, the AI shows promise in improving as it continues to learn. Users can engage with Hanooman AI in various languages, noting that responses may vary in clarity and coherence across languages like English, Hindi, and Bengali.
