HTC USeries: Everything You Need to Know About the Latest Smartphone Launch in 2024

HTC is preparing to introduce a new smartphone in India. The company hinted at the arrival of a new product through a social media post on Wednesday (May 15) without revealing its name or launch date. Speculations suggest it could be an HTC U24 series model, potentially offering enhancements over last year's HTC U23 and HTC U23 Pro.

This move signals HTC's comeback to the Indian market after pulling out of the country a few years ago due to stiff competition from Chinese manufacturers. HTC Vive teased the launch of a new product in India through a post on social media platform X.

The post includes the hashtag "Allforu" and a "coming soon" tag. The accompanying image displays a device with the text "Al24U." While the exact name remains undisclosed, indications point to it being an HTC U24 series smartphone.

Reports suggest that HTC is working on the HTC U24 and HTC U24 Pro models. A handset with the model number 2QDA100 recently appeared on Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG websites, hinting at specifications such as Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, 12GB of RAM, Android 14, and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity for the upcoming device.

The upcoming HTC U24 and HTC U24 Pro are anticipated to offer improvements over their predecessors, the HTC U23 and HTC U23 Pro, respectively. These new models are expected to maintain full HD+ 120Hz OLED displays and an IP67-certified build.

The launch of these new devices marks HTC's return to the Indian market. The brand, which primarily focused on flagship smartphones, scaled back its mobile division globally in recent years due to intense competition from Chinese smartphone brands. HTC also operates a dedicated division named Vive for VR-related innovations.
