Red Bull RBHypercar: What to Expect at Its Debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024

The launch of the hypercar aligns with Red Bull Racing's 20th anniversary, marking two decades of Formula 1 success. Red Bull Racing is preparing to reveal its RB17 hypercar at the esteemed Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 12, 2024.

This debut signifies a significant achievement for the team as it commemorates 20 years of Formula 1 excellence. Crafted entirely in-house by Red Bull, the RB17 will be produced in limited quantities - just 50 units, and incorporates a range of technologies derived from Formula 1.

Spearheaded by Adrian Newey, the project is expected to be his final major contribution to Red Bull following his announcement of departure from the company.

The RB17 will be constructed around a carbon fibre chassis and will be powered by a mid-mounted naturally aspirated V10 engine capable of revving up to 15,000 rpm. Red Bull has stated that the engine will serve as a semi-stressed element of the chassis, paired with a carbon fibre gearbox to deliver power to the rear wheels.

The RB17 is projected to reach a top speed of 350 kmph and will feature a two-seater cabin. The Goodwood Festival of Speed provides an ideal platform for this momentous occasion, offering a picturesque setting for Red Bull Racing's milestone celebration.

In addition to the unveiling of the RB17, fans can anticipate a captivating showcase of championship-winning cars and legendary drivers from the team's illustrious history.
