Bentley "Edition Trio: A Closer Look at the Continental GT, GTC, and Flying Spur

Bentley Motors has recently unveiled the highly anticipated Edition 8 series, comprising the new Continental GT, GTC, and Flying Spur models specifically tailored for the North American market. These special editions represent a poignant conclusion to the era of Bentley's current 4.0-liter V8 engine, as the luxury car manufacturer has announced its plans to discontinue this engine option across the Continental and Flying Spur line-up shortly.

The Edition 8 models come with a plethora of customizable features courtesy of Mulliner, Bentley's bespoke commissioning division. Among the extensive options available, customers can choose from over 60 exterior paint colors from Mulliner's exclusive palette, allowing for a truly personalized aesthetic.

Additionally, the Edition 8 variants boast the Blackline package as a standard inclusion, which elegantly darkens a significant portion of the exterior brightwork, complemented by sleek 22-inch wheels available in either a five-spoke or 10-spoke design.

Inside the cabin, comfort takes center stage with the comfort seats coming as standard. For those seeking an added touch of sophistication, Bentley offers the option of adorning the leather upholstery with the intricate Palm Fluting finish, a luxurious feature previously reserved for the brand's bespoke models. The interior ambiance is further enhanced by Edition 8 badging throughout, lending an air of exclusivity to the vehicle.

Noteworthy details of the Edition 8 models include self-leveling wheel caps, LED welcome lamps, and a meticulously crafted 'jewel' filler cap, a remarkable piece inspired by a bespoke request from one of Bentley's discerning clients.

Bentley acknowledges the legacy of the V8 engine, which has been a cornerstone of the brand for 75 years, evolving from the iconic L-Series V8 engine in the S2 to the contemporary 4.0-litre V8 powerplant found in the latest models.
